As an Air Designer, I don’t just “fill the space with fragrance.” I curate emotions. I believe that a well-designed scent journey is like a warm embrace—it should be felt before it’s even noticed. Today, I’m taking you behind the scenes to show you the heart and science that goes into making your space truly scent-sational.
The Blueprint of Breath: The Site Recce
My morning begins with a Site Recce. This is the most crucial step for a “hassle-free” setup. I walk through the venue, noting the ceiling heights, the airflow from the AC vents, and the natural foot traffic.
Why do I do this? Because your peace of mind matters. By planning the technicalities early—like power point locations and discreet mounting spots—we ensure that when the event starts, our presence is invisible, but our impact is felt. We handle the complexity so you can enjoy the atmosphere.
Orchestrating the “Scent Journey”
Design isn’t just about what you smell; it’s about where and how much you smell it. I look at a floor plan like a musical score, designing different intensities for different zones:
The Teaser: A light, intriguing hint near the entrance to spark curiosity.
The Welcome: A burst of hospitality to settle the soul.
The Main Zone: The heart of the experience, using our high-capacity models for full, rich coverage.
The Exit: A lingering, comforting note that says, “Come back soon.”
By using different machine models tailored to each area’s volume, we ensure the fragrance is never “too much” or “too little”—it’s always just right.
The Power of the “Neutral Zone”
It might sound strange for a fragrance company to talk about “no scent,” but the Neutral Zone is my favorite part of the design.
I strategically plan areas where the air is crisp and clear. This prevents “scent fatigue” and allows your senses to reset. It creates a beautiful contrast, helping you truly appreciate the transition between spaces. It’s in these quiet moments that the fragrance becomes even more magical when you encounter it again.
Precision at Your Fingertips
Finally, I set up our Friendly App Control. I love showing our clients this part! Whether you want the scent to bloom at 9:00 AM sharp or fade out during a quiet lunch hour, it’s all customizable. This level of control ensures that your scent operation is as efficient as it is beautiful, running perfectly in the background of your busy day.
